The are intended for the following types of cable armours:
- single wire armour
- wire braid armour
- steel tape armour
- all-purpose – for any type of cable armour
They are available with single or double sealing. They are made of brass, nickel plated brass, aluminium or stainless steel. They have a triple certificate (Ex d, Ex e, Ex nR). They are available with two types of threads (M and NPT). All glands for armoured cables may be made for group I, mining applications.
