Resin barrier cable glands are intended for both group I and group II. Individual wires are sealed with quick-setting liquid pour resin. Their proper selection is specified in IEC 60079-14. They are made of brass, nickel plated brass, stainless steel and aluminium, and are available with two types of threads (M and NPT). Resin barrier cable glands are available for non-armoured cables and for cables with any type of armour.
